The discussion of the iCom made me wonder if I would be able to dig out my old HTX 202 that I got from Radio Shack about 25 years ago.

It was based on some iCom model, and my old radio has the same microphone plug on the top as the one on my current radio. The antenna and squelch and volume buttons might get in the way though.
