Unfortunately the labeling on the boards is not consistent.

On some boards...

TX means "TX". Connect it to RX on the other end.
RX means "RX" Connect it to TX on the other end.

On other boards...

TX means "to TX". Connect it to TX on the other end.
RX means "to RX". Connect it to RX on the other end.
