I think this can be done without sending me a radio. If Mike has a 32-bit Windows computer available and using the Baofeng software, can capture a download from the radio and an upload to the radio with Microsoft's Portmon software in hex mode and email them to me, that may be all I need to get things started. I'd at least like to try that before mailing any radios or spending any money.Mike... email me off list if you think you can do this and I will give you more details.
Also, are we all talking about the same radio. Earlier today Mike said BF-V6. Jack, isn't what you have a UV-6? These are completely different radios.Jim KC9HI

Shipping over the boarder is a bit of pain. If you wish, I can do it for you though unless you get a better offer. :)
