I am fresh out of 32 bit computers (that explains why portmon stopped working!).  It was one of my favorite tools.

I've got a few other RS232 stream capture tools.  Let me see what I can do.  I don't have the radios at the moment, but I will get one.

If Mike has a 32-bit Windows computer available and using the Baofeng software, can capture a download from the radio and an upload to the radio with Microsoft's Portmon software in hex mode and email them to me, that may be all I need to get things started. I'd at least like to try that before mailing any radios or spending any money.

Also, are we all talking about the same radio. Earlier today Mike said BF-V6. Jack, isn't what you have a UV-6? These are completely different radios.
