
And, when I spent some quality time this morning looking again, today, I was able to get it started. Now to experiment. I did have to get pySerial and install it before things would work.
Now, if I hadn't left the IC91AD at the office...

I don't have much experience with CentOS - No promises, but I'll setup a machine and look into it.
FYI: You should be able to unpack the source tarball and run it directly the source by moving to that directory and typing ./chirpw to start the application.
