Hey Jim, would it be a fair assumption that if the cable and chirp program works for my gt3tp and uv5r it should be ok for the GT3 mk11?

If you leave the cable unplugged from your radio and try to program it, you will receive the same error. It is 99% likely to be a cabling issue of some sort. I'm going to update the Supporte Radio Models list because it is definitely not correct.
