Most people want to do their clones in one fell swoop.There are certain things you just have to do in individual|rows and this isn't exclusive to Chirp. Cross brand exportand import can be tricky until you spend the time to findout what works. Just don't give up because there are othersout here that probably have the correct answer. If you are goingto use CSV you don't want to use Excel. It adds garbage intothe row info. Download LibreOffice. I use it in Linux andit makes good CSV files.

Bob...thanks.That worked.JackW4GRJWhat I do in these cases is to export a file from the radio that I'm trying to program. Then I open the file from the "donor" radio. I then copy all the data on the Donor tab, open the receiver radio tab and paste in the data and then send it to the radio.
As an alternative method, you can save a csv file of the donor data and import that into the receiver table...
The key seems to be that each radio (sometimes this even extends to the actual physical radio) stores identification data in the file, and won't accept a file with different ID data...
