Hi Tim,
I think if you use Chirp from nixpkgs-unstable / nixos-unstable, you'll get
chirp-next with python3 (from 2022-12-07.)
Try this:
nix run nixpkgs#chirp
73s

Hello,
There is a version of chirp-daily (20220823) packaged up as a Nix
package for NixOS Linux. It does install fine, along with python 2, but
fails since there is a third element when it splits the version number.
I thought I'd prefer to try out chirp-next anyway, and then not need
python 2. Has anyone tried wrapping it up as a Nix package yet? (There
isn't one in the nix repo.)
Cheers,
Tim
