In other words NEVER use tone squelch on receive unless you actually know how it works and know exactly what the hell you are doing.
Then if you do use tone squelch on receive, don't get on the internet and whine "I have the right frequencies programmed why can't I hear ___________ ?!?!?!"

TSQL will only work IF the repeater puts out a tone and IF you are set to receive the right tone.� If in doubt, leave TSQL turned off."
