Heck, it's not even 11pm yet!

I was able to download and upload successfully, making sure to select the non-US model of the 897. I did discover along the way that one of the 232-USB cables is bad, but that was a gift (also this morning) from a fellow cleaning out junk.

OK, I am now a certifiable happy camper, and my gratitude to all of you who aided and abetted my cause today.

This ol' guy is now smilin' broadly :-)))))
