I have the Chirp software on my old MacBook Pro (cira 2009) Running version 10.10.5. I can no longer open it on that laptop. I was trying to load each profile to my Baofeg UV-5R to move them to my newer MacBook Pro., but I'm not able to open Chirp on my older model. Am I out of luck or is there some way to open the older chirp version?

You don't need to open the old version to copy your radio image files to the new laptop. Just copy the .img files and the new chirp will open them.
