This sounds as if it should be true, but it is not. I have recently been working with exactly this problem...a link to an http URL //sometimes// is changed to https (not sure why, perhaps a DNS or browser problem), and an error msg is generated because the certificate doesn't match the link. In addition (not to argue, but to wonder), why not have the link be correct? I'm gonna guess it is a single change to a template.
