This is largely just an updated version of Nick Partofthething's (accounts@partofthething.com) original patch posted on 12 July 2015.
This has been working for me - I am able to update the names and repeater settings in my IC-7100, and apply channels to banks.
VERY EXCITED to see this update - thanks to Nick and Adam!
