My radio says Cancel on the last zero when I try to enter 100.000 and jumps back to what the VFO was set on prior. And it will not allow input of a leading zero. Also it will allow frequency input keyed in on the bottom band. The radio is a Baofeng F-11, just a re-badged UV5R with its own firmware.

Jim, Your right, when I saw that, I put mine in VFO & pressed Zero, nothing. Bill ----- Original Message -----

I don't think the VFO will let you key in a leading ZERO
I don't have a radio handy so I can't verify this, but I believe you would set STEP=10KHz, key in 100.000 and then press the down arrow key until you get to 076.040

Laine,
Enter the leading zero. So in this case you would enter 076040 which would be accepted as 76.040.

Hello Jim
You said you can enter any frequency in to the radio via the keypad
how do you put in a frequency like 76.040 seeing its only 5 numbers
Cheers
