It looks like it reset the list. For me, it will after you've selected a file.
I recently re-wrote the algorithm that manages that list to try to make it smarter and avoid the duplicates it likes to collect. I intended to preserve the current list, but maybe that wasn't as successful in all situations as I was hoping. Hopefully the new algorithm is worth it though :)
