[users] Continuous debug logging?

It seems CHIRP doesn't flush debug logs to disk until the user selects "open debug log" or "show debug log location." Is there a way to invoke continuous flush? I ask because I'm using a new 3rd party module where CHRIP freezes if I select the Settings tab for my radio. There's no way to invoke a log flush at this point.
