I've been happily using CHIRP to program BF-888S radios but today I ran into a problem with the language and frequency step entries (I'm using CHIRP daily-20190217).
o When using my stored .img file for the BF-888S the frequencies upload correctly but the voice announcements are in Chinese even though English is selected in Settings.
o When trying to manually enter a frequency ending in, for example, .5875, into an .img file, an error message appears stating "Error setting memory: Tuning step 12.50 not supported, Frequency requires 12.50kHz step".
I've never run into either of these problems before and would be grateful for any advice and guidance.
Thanks,
RD
