Drew, I see under Memories the ability to set power level for individual channels then I see under Settings>Work Mode Settings, options for VFO A Power and VFO B Power. Not sure if this helps. Mark

A problem with a different option same radio. I've been looking unsuccessfully for a way to change the default power level from high to low. And then boost the power level for individual channels if necessary. As it is now the power level defaults to high and I have to change most channels manually to low to reach the desired configuration. This is extremely annoying. Maybe I'm missing something somewhere.

Yes it does. Chirp will let you put your call, name or anything else that will fit within the limits. Mine is set to show my call in line 'A' and my first name in line 'B'.

Does CHIRP allow programming of single menu options such as the text of the power on message (PONMSG)? Is there a list of programmable items?
Thanks,Mark
