Thanks for the links! The only radio I have is the Baofeng UV-5R. I'll try playing around with the code for that. I will direct questions to the dev list.

You're right. I'm not sure either. I haven't yet had a chance to play with it. There is a COM interface on it and is said to follow the interface from TS-590 (at least for rig control). That probably doesn't say much about being able to program the memory channels. But we'll see how it goes!

Hi Angad,

I don't see anything that says this rig is computer programmable. But
assuming that it is, you will want to join the chirp_devel mailing
list and get a copy of the OEM software so you can reverse engineer
how it functions.

There are also some pages on the CHIRP website with tips on how to get
started as a developer.
