John,

This doesn't sound like a CHIRP issue. What happens when you try to
transmit on the same frequency in the VFO?

Hi John
I sounds like the battery is bad. It may be fully charged according to the charger but once you put it under load i.e. transmit it?s pulling the voltage down.
Is this radio new? i.e. right out of the box?

I tried using CHIRP 20141119 with a genuine FTDI cable to read from my
TH-D7(G) and the only result I could see was a mysterious "PF3" message
flashing on the bottom of the THD7's screen.

Does anyone know if CHIRP is known to work with the TH-D7(G) ?

Or what the PF3 message means?

Thanks.
