Are you talking about baofengtech.com? I don't see it there as a UV-5R 8 watts or UV-5R8W. Mine incidentally looks like the older models without the screw heads on the face. More importantly, do you have any advice on how to program it with software? A CHIRP model I can select that you think would work? I've tried several.

You might also consider that you have a fake radio. I eventually
discovered that I have one. It works but the radio is not programmable
via Chirp.


I couldn't believe that there would be such a thing as a fake copy of a
Chinese radio. Is that Kama?
