Could someone please point out where a set of instructions are for getting this driver? I know I've heard this subject come up before, but now I'm in that boat and am wondering if someone can help me to know what to do to fix this problem. Thx so much!

It’s a $3 conversion of a generic programming cable to a chip/board that loads with no special drivers. If you’ve got a spare cable, you may want to try it.
It replaces the ‘cloned’ chips with a CP2102. Works every time.

So far I have not had a issue of Windows updates changing the drivers on me. "Knocking on Wood".

todd,
thank you,
doesn't the automatic updates change 3.2.0.0 back to the latest driver?
i thought that was a problem.

Ive upgraded to Win 10 from 7. I did have to reinstall the 3.2.0.0 driver as Win 10 installed a non working new driver. So reinstall 3.2.0.0 and you will be back up and running shortly.
