Dan, It was done with the Alinco DOS software, I can send you a copy if you need it to open the files, I tried opening the saves in Notepad, and it's gobbledygook. I've attached both save files, only difference is one has the channel setting, one frequency. Really appreciate any help you can give, if I hadn't lost my serial cable I'd probably be OK. CHIRP is much easier to enter data into than the DOS program!
Also, did you ever get a Quansheng handheld for testing/programming? Bob Chimel said he was going to send you one, several of us bought radios from him last summer and they're great, but it seems no one but me can use the software that came with them. Awesome software, thanks for all the work you've done!

Hi Kevin,
I have an Alinco DR-135T (MkI) that is stuck in "Channel" mode. I can download/upload data to the radio, but I need to reset the radio to "Frequency" mode. This needs to be done in software, as Channel mode locks out button resets. I had a DOS program that would change radio settings, but it does not work with the new USB cable I have. CHIRP seems to not have a radio settings dialog. Any advice? I can program the radio with CHIRP, but I'd like to be able to enter frequencies in the VFO if needed.
Hmm, that's interesting. Can you still run the DOS software and save out files? If so, send me a file with the locked flag enabled and a file with the lock flag disabled and I can try to figure out what bit is being set.
(Note that the two files have to differ only by the bit being set).
