Glad you got it to work, ignore my previous suggestion
problem solved....chirp does NOT write the file to the disk unless you say overwrite the file and then save the file when you exit...
seems to me once it writes to memory you should be asked if you want to save it....or the message should say something like
"file mytestsetup.cvs has not been saved Do you want to save it now?"
