I tried to read a FT8800 radio; I just get an error about not being able to read the header. I followed the 8800 process to put it in clone mode.

I used the latest production version of Chirp.

As you may be able to tell, this is my first time to try chirp, so if you can direct me on what information I may provide to aid in directing me that would be most welcome.

Windows 7 laptop being used.

Not urgent.
