Today's chirp-daily works fine under Window 7 (32 bit) and Fedora 16 Linux.

This should make things better on Windows 7 and Vista. I would
appreciate some validation of this fact by users of those systems. Also,
it would be good to bang on all parts of this build by all Windows users
to make sure that going back to the older version(s) didn't cause any
trouble.
