Josh, You could use Ubuntu for free with Chirp. I recommend Ubuntu version 18, and not 20, as the difference in Python may be challenging. You can use VmWare to have Linux without rebooting, or you could put it on a thumb drive and boot up to it. HTH. Glenn

That is the same issue I am having, but the problem I am having is that download to fix the issue is no longer available. Any suggestions aside from buying a new computer/ newer OS?
