If Device Manager shows your cable to be a Prolific, roll back your driver to 3.2.0.0. If that doesn't work, go to KC8UNJ.com, download the FT-60 Commander software, and use the Alternate Write Method.

I’m trying to download from a new Yeasu FT-60R. It has two frequencies saved in memory. When the download (Tx) begins I receive the error message: Failed to communicate with radio: Reading block 0 was short (0). I’ve repeated the procedure several times. Each time I receive the same message but the block number and short number change. Is there a fix for this error?
