Some older versions had bugs like incorrect DTMF tones or no receive audio when the keypad beep is disabled. I don't remember what was wrong with HN5RV01.

Except maybe to avoid the getting the "HN5RV01" firmware version, there has been no reason to choose one firmware version over another.
