I would think that if someone were running the Stable version, it should only check for updates of the Stable version.
If someone were running a Daily Build, perhaps it should notify them if there is a newer Daily Build (which would happen very often) AND if there is a Stable version newer than their Daily Build
That shouldn't be a problem. Check is would not be done by Chipr. It should just ask site if there is new werion and provide it's current version. Site should always be able to determine if there is newer version (cointing main or daily build branch). It could even reposnd not with plain yes or no, but with newer version number and even url for downlad.
