1. check the values programmed for squelch, default values tend to be 40 or more I tend to use lowest value for squelch slot 1 at 15, slot 2 25 ....
2. the mic sensitivity level adjustment by default is set for loud environments; so talk close to the radio
antenna? tested several, Hyperia 771 was the best

Sometimes he could hear me but I couldn't hear him, then I could hear him and he couldn't hear me, is this an antenna issue ? We are using the rubber duckies that came with them, I also saw a setting for repeaters delay on the settings section, it is set to off, does that need to be changed ?
