I spent a lot of time trying to get my Linux computers to read from my
Wouxun radio using both the Wouxun programming cable and an Ftdi1232
board and got a serial port error message.
My mistake was selecting dev/ttyS0.  You need to select dev/ttyUSB0 way
down at the end of the tty list.
