Iwill check this right now...and let you know. ....yes it programs the radio but the 5R-XP allows the tri power feature., It STILL doesn not program the power on +6 message. It does allow for the other message in alpha numeric.

According to an Amazon review that I just read, the AR-152 can be
programmed using CHIRP by selecting Baofeng UV-5X as the vendor/model
selections. Let me know if this is truly the and I will add it to the
CHIRP Supported Radio Models list.
