Hi Dennis  the instructions are on screen so just follow them so I power up into clone mode then press ok and immediately after mhz to put it in TX mode.
The error comes up straight away or within a few seconds after the download bar appears.  I guess they are just not passing information. My other Boafeng and TYT radios work fine with the cheap leads that came with them
