857d Digirig CHIRP-next 20250214 Ubuntu 24.04
CHIRP sees the USB connection and starts the download. Send on the radio's end finishes with progress bar almost complete on CHIRP. After a few seconds, I get an error message stating: RadioError: Failed to communicate with radio: Unable to read last block. This often happens when the selected model is US but the radio is a non-US one (or widebanded). Please choose the correct model and try again.
I have reset the radio. I have unplugged and plugged the Digirig interface back in. I have tried an alternate CAT cable. Both Digirig and the alternate CAT cable have worked with previous versions of the software.
As a complicating factor, between the old versions and this one, I reinstalled ubuntu 24.04
