I don't think you will find the older v3.2.0.0 driver available for
download on the Prolific site.

These are definitely _not_ the latest copies of the official drivers. 
But in this case they are not supposed to be...

Thanks for mentioning SiLabs, I have a Rasberry  Pi programming cable
using one of their chipsets and it works fine other purposes (I use it
for a TTY connection to my Synology NAS).
