I am a Canadian resident and the Federal Communications has not regulated portable radios to narrow band. All of the Motorola radios that we have are wide band. I had purchased some radios in the US and had them programed. They were setup as narrow band. Apparently, they did not work with our existing radios so they were reprogrammed as wide band here in Canada.
Now the question: When adding a new channel, which column needs to be changed and how to program some frequencies as wide band?
Thanks in advance.

The Mode column. For most radios FM is "wide" and NFM is "narrow".
Here are some guides that may help you.
