I'm planning to spend some time this evening testing with the FT-2800m, THK2, and W32A and will let you know what I learn.

Okay, great, I'll hold off until we make sure your previously-reported issues are resolved.

Also, I recieved a programming cable for my Kenwood TM-271A, so I am planning on sending them to you soon so you can figure out the protocol.
