I had to reset my FT-60R.  I did write over the original memory download.

I installed the latest Chirp build, and can not download a new memory template.

I tried reinstalling the FTDI USB driver and checked that it is registered in the system. I reinstalled Chirp again with no success.

Any suggestions?

It seems it is not stressed enough that you must, VERY FIRST THING, download an image of your radio and save it, and lock it down. Use it as a template for everything moving forward. Never save over it, replace and/or delete it.

Maybe getting rid of File /new and only make available download image and open.
