2 - 2900's - one modded and one not - cable works fine on the
un-modded one. As a matter of fact - I have several types of
cables for different radios, so yes, I think that's the driver I'm
using.
Check device manager to see if your cable is a Prolific. If it is, roll your driver back to 3.2.0.0 and see if that works.

I've been reading bug reports and have not been able to determine if the
"Failed to communicate with radio: Failed to read header." on a TX
Modded radio has been fixed or not. Running Windows 7 and the latest
chirp build.
Any help or suggestions appreciated.
