You can tune anywhere you want to communicate to another radio, so radio to radio, there are thousands of possibilities, as long as you aren't interfering with a repeater. But for the answer you are looking for, I recommend going to radioreference.com and putting in your zip code and you will find the repeaters in your area for those bands. HTH.
