I plan to run some more tests on this non-functional FTDI cable tomorrow.
This radio programmning crap is keeping so many hams off the air. I miss the days when you didn't need to program radios. They just worked, OR they were far simpler to set up memories.

Why? Almost all the radios support initiation from the PC side. The instructions look correct to me, with the call-out for Yaesu radios which require extra work. Many of the Yaesu drivers also prompt with model-specific instructions now, by the way.
