You downloaded your UV5R's frequencies to CHIRP and what the radio says is ch-2 is 470.637 is downloaded as 462.725000?

That doesn't sound like you are downloading anythimg.

Can you load frequencies into the radio?

Could this be a step problem.  Set the step to the lowest setting and the radio might leave them alone.  If the step is too high, I think the radio either truncates or goes to the closest step.
