I'm guessing that, on your laptop, you would have needed to press the "show empty memories" button at the top of the spreadsheet.

I'm now using my desktop and I see what you mean. All the memory channels were downloaded from the radio and I can make changes/add repeaters now. On my laptop, the only things downloaded were 2 repeaters I'd tried to add without Chirp.I think I'm off and running, now. I don't know why my laptop wasn't populated like my desktop was. Thanks to both of you.Mike_______________________________________________On Tue, Apr 23, 2019 at 12:30 PM Dan Clemmensen < danclemmensen@gmail.com> wrote:More specifically, after you download, you will see CHIRP's "spreadsheet" populated with your current "memorys". You can now modify that spreadsheet to change the existing memories or fill in "memories" that are currently "empty". You may need to hit the "show empty memories" button to cause the "empty" lines to show up so you can fill one of them in. CHIRP cannot cause your radio to suddenly have additional memory capacity, so if your radio has only 20 memories, CHIRP will display that many only. After you mess around with the "spreadsheet" display, you can then "upload to radio" to cause the to be put back into the radio.Hint: After you download and before you make changes, save the image. After you change the image and before you upload, save to another file._______________________________________________On Tue, Apr 23, 2019 at 11:12 AM Chance Fulton < chance.fulton@gmail.com> wrote:Download what is in your radio, make changes, and then write it back using the same menu that you used to read the radio.Thanks,ChanceAD8CJOn Tue, Apr 23, 2019 at 2:08 PM Mike < mike.cajun@gmail.com> wrote:How do I add a new frequency? I downloaded what was in my radio - my fumbling around - but I'd like to go ahead and put new frequencies in. I can't figure out how to do that.
