There are many reasons why chirp might fail, particularly on Windows OS. If a person is unfamiliar with how to work around the issue they will never get it to work without help. That does not override the derisive message that was sent although I can understand his frustration. 73, Alan - W6ARH

I don't know what this persons issue is but I am a new HAM (14 months) and have programmed four radios without any issues.
