Correct. The initial N5R style firmware from 3 years ago had the BEEP bug and missing DTMF "D" (it transmitted a "0" instead). Unless we are talking about radios from 3 years ago, there is nothing that would require anyone to be concerned about the firmware version.

Except maybe to avoid the getting the "HN5RV01" firmware version, there has been no reason to choose one firmware version over another.
