Okay, here is the deal. If I start the software with the radio on and ask
it to read the radio it sends Error messages in all memory slots. My RS232 cable
shows that it is transmitting but not receiving.
If I turn the radio off and then right back on it transmits and receives
and it starts filling in the memory slots. It will go back and fill in the slots
that had Errors in them and then it goes idle. It will not give me Bank Names
nor does it have what bank the memory is in in both the A and B side.
The DStar does not register and the Banks in the B side do not show.
When I try to import a file it lets me pick the file and then a box opens
with some of the memories in it and I tell it to do all of them. Then the bottom
of the screen says something about the memory but I do not remember what it says
but it looks like it is stuck and then Chirp produces a Not Responding Message
and it will not recover so I have to shut it down with the Task Manager.
Now instead of even trying to load the file it just goes to Not Responding.
Not sure why it will not read the radio unless I turn it off and then turn
it on.
That is my report for the day.
