I'm not a windows guy but I did install the VIP software for windows in
a VirtualBox running Win 7 but the program wouldn't even startup
correctly, so I gave up.

Hi Doug,

Are you sure you can't edit them? They are greyed out because they are empty. Click on one and then click again in the Frequency column and enter a frequency. That's the way it works on my Windows computer and I just fired up my Linux to verify it does the same thing.
