The Baofeng UV-8D
is unique. Its programming is not close enough to
another Baofeng model for
it be quickly added to CHIRP. You must use
the factory programming software.
It uses the UV-8 (not UV-82)
programming software which is available on the
Chinese radio
manufacturer's website (
www.baofengradio.com).
