Did you create an initial template for your radio? CHIRP supports over 160 various models and requires a template from your radio to know what format too use. Refer to item (1.1) at http://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_CHIRP.php

i have the above, i reading and writing and playing with it in chirp... chrip writes ok, but the radio shows no programed mems.

i add a few mems to radio manually ok. but then read radio into chirp, but no mems are copied. am i missing something
