The [MONI] switch is the centre switch on the left side of the radio. It has the the dimple in its centre. If you are pressing this switch when you turn your radio on it should go into the menu mode and allow you to select option 8 with the channel selector knob.
If this doesn't work then you may have a problem with your radio.

I followed the instructions listed on the popup box just before you read your radio (which has to occur first). The instructions are:
- Turn radio off.
- Connect cable to MIC/SP jack.
- Press and hold in the [MONI] switch while turning the radio on.
- Rotate the DIAL job to select "F8 CLONE".
- Press the [F/W] key momentarily.
- After clicking OK, press the [PTT] switch to send image.
There are instructions listed before you clone your radio too.
These worked well for me.

The problem seems to be that the jack on that radio is machined slightly differently from a regular 3.5mm one for some reason, and when I was writing the driver for it, I had to keep pressure on one side of it so it would make contact. Since Yaesu doesn't provide a cable for it (remember, it's clone-able, but not PC-programmable, according to them), I'm not sure what cable to recommend. I don't own one myself, but a lot of people here do. I'm sure we can get some good usage reports from the folks here that have one to recommend (or not).
